About me,

I love nature, macro photography + seeing how natural light refracts, showcasing the amazing patterns and textures in nature that are already there. I am a photographer, artist + student studying visual communication. Having lived in Somerset in the South West of England my entire life, my creative practice is heavily inspired by the Great British Countryside + areas of outstanding Natural beauty that I am so grateful to have on my doorstep.

This portfolio website represents my own visual language that is starting to emerging, inspired by other creatives.

It begins with inner light — a reflection of how I use photography to express emotion, especially the feelings I can’t always put into words. It’s a visual exploration of light, colour, and energy, and how these elements quietly shape the way I see and feel the world around me.

Industry Brief -

This series, and much of my work, is about bringing the unseen “into the light!”

Through instinctive image-making and experimentation, I found myself repeatedly drawn to natural light interacting with water, reflecting, refracting, revealing. This wasn’t a conscious decision at first, but over time, it became a recurring theme. Inspired by other artists pushing creative boundaries, I began exploring how far I could manipulate colour, uncovering the hidden hues that live within light itself.

Final Outcomes -

Through all my experimentation and enjoyment with drawing out the vibrant colours we don’t see in light at first sight I came to the conclusion that it is not about the colour but what lie beneath when you strip away the colour to reveal lights truest form. The light + dark, the textures + shapes, the reflection + refraction.
